Random Play Dance is a playful dance session where choruses of k-pop songs are played in random order. If you know the choreography of the chorus, you can freely rush to the center of the ring to dance. Luckily, the fun is not limited to this, because even on the edge of the ring you can dance and enjoy the music completely freely! Come along and bring a friend too!
The RPD will take place on Sunday August 4 in Messuaukio, in front of the southern entrance of Messukeskus, subject to weather conditions. Participation in the program is therefore completely free! There are two RPD rounds: 10:30-11:00 AM and 11:30-12:00 AM. Be one of the first to arrive, as the first 20 RPD participants will claim a free day ticket to the Assembly Winter 2025 event!
During the break, our sponsors will spoil the participants with various surprises! This is something you don’t want to miss!
The RPD is organized by a Helsinki based dance group, Checkmate. Checkmate is a uniform and energetic dance group who started dancing together in 2022. They debuted with their dance cover of O.O – Nmixx. Checkmate is not only a dance group but a group of friends who support each other. The group’s goal is to develop and create a safe hobby environment for all members. The group already has experience in organizing several RPDs, so it’s going to be a great game!
