Overview of the updated program for the summer – an incredible lineup of experiences awaits!

The nerdiest festival of the summer and Finland's largest gaming and digital culture event, Assembly Summer 2023, will take place at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre from August 3rd to 6th. The ticket sales have been hot, and if the previous indications hold true, the pace will only accelerate as the event approaches. If you want to have a say in the location of your computer seat, it's recommended to get your ticket soon for yourself and your friends. Visitor tickets can also be purchased in advance to ensure entry and avoid queuing at the doors.

Program updates and schedule

The event schedule has been published and will continue to be updated on the Schedule page. The event is packed with things to see and do, and it's impossible to experience everything. The schedule will help you decide where you need to be at any given time to make the most of the Summer event.

New additions have been made to the program at the beginning of July, and the overall lineup is already mind-blowing! Here's a quick overview of the diverse program. Check out all the programs on the Program page.

LAN

Finland's largest LAN with over 2000 computer seats! Creativity is rewarded, as the coolest computer seat and the coolest computer will be recognized! This time, the best outfit will also receive its well-deserved reward.

Demoscene

Democompos on the main stage and in the scene lounge from Thursday to Saturday. There are also easily approachable compos - explore, participate, and remember to vote for your favorites!

Creative Zone

Creative Zone is the center of creative activities at Assembly. If you're interested in demos, coding, game development, electronics construction, starting programming, or technology in general, you've come to the right place.

TechRace by Juction is a mini 3-hour hackathon where you get to solve puzzles in 1-5 person teams.

Esports

The Counter-Strike Finnish Championship will be held from Thursday to Saturday. Participants include HAVU, ENCE Academy, JANO, and one more Finnish top team.

Assymylly - Finland's largest fighting game tournament featuring the new Street Fighter 6, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Strive, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Participation is open with pre-registration.

Casual tournaments

Casual tournaments played from computer seats include games such as Minecraft, LoL, Fortnite, CS:GO, Apex Legends, and Sims 4. Check out all the tournaments here.

Niko & Santtu's Thousand-Euro Challenge

Niko and Santtu's open-to-all Thousand-Euro Challenge on Friday, with prizes worth €1000 from Jimm's PC store. Participate in the qualifiers now and secure your spot in the final competition.

Music

DJ Pauli LIVE on Saturday. The beloved professional entertainer Pauli returns to Assemblies! There's only one Pauli, and his live set can only be seen at Assemblies!

Unreality Choir performs gaming classics on the main stage on Friday. Come and hear amazing game hits accompanied by the delightful choir.

K-ASSEMBLY! K-pop Dance Show on Saturday. The main stage will feature a proper dance show as several K-pop-focused groups give their best in dance form.

Cosplay

The cosplay competition brings impressive performances to the main stage on Saturday. Individual and group categories are included. Come and cheer for your favorite to win!

Influencers

Content Corner by Wrigley's EXTRA showcases the hottest names in the influencer scene. Participants include Herbalisti, Wildeem, Lancelot, TerapeuttiVille, and many more! Don't forget the live streaming in the Content Corner's stream area. Stay tuned for more information!

DIY & Raves

Hackraves and workshops from Thursday to Sunday. Feeling like dancing? As usual, the summer event will feature raves. An amazing dome will be set up in the area, where you can find DIY workshops and other activities during the daytime.

The robot coding competition organized by TiES is open to everyone, with a 24-hour coding challenge to test teams' robot programming skills!

Expo

Gigantti Gaming Giveaway, Jimm's shout-outs, Assygames free play area by Verkkokauppa.com, and numerous other exhibitors. There will also be plenty of expo programs!

Robowars is a competition where radio-controlled vehicles battle to immobilize the opponent or push their vehicle out of the arena within a round's time limit (3 minutes).
