What is a Harassment Contact Person? What Do We Do? How Can We Help? Who Can We Help?

Assembly has renewed its Harassment Contact Person (abbr. “HCP”) operations! At Assembly, we want to ensure that every visitor has a safe and unforgettable experience at the event. As Harassment Contact Persons, we are here to support everyone—from LAN partygoers to visitors of all ages, from babies to grandparents.

Our role at the event is to provide support and security in situations that may be uncomfortable, distressing, frightening, or threatening. Whether it’s a child feeling homesick or someone experiencing inappropriate treatment, we are here to help. The support we offer can include listening, talking, or providing other necessary assistance depending on the situation. However, we are not law enforcement or healthcare professionals, which is why we work closely with the event’s security personnel.

Our Harassment Contact Person team consists of trained individuals. We work in collaboration with the entire Assembly staff, ensuring an effective response to any situation. The fastest way to reach us at the event is through the info desk or security staff. You can also contact us directly via Discord, through a contact form on this website, or by email.

Harassment Contact Persons at the Winter 2025 Event

Bexy

Hi! I’m Bexy, and I work as a harassment contact person at Assembly, as well as part of the Content Crew. I love sushi, and I first attended Assembly in 2016.

Gertsu

Hey there! I’m Gertsu, and at Assembly, I’m the head harassment contact person and a security steward. My favorite food is sausage fries, and my go-to drink is Mega Force. I’ve been involved with organizing Assembly events for over 10 years!

Ella

Hey ~ I’m Ella, and I’m a harassment contact person. I’m terrible at video games but love them anyway. Soulsborne games are my absolute favorites ♡

Enna

Heya! I’m Enski, and I work as a harassment contact person at Assembly. I get super excited about new things super easily. The latest thing I got hyped about—and even fell in love with—is snowboarding!

Sindri

I’ve been volunteering at various events for almost 13 years, 10 of which have mainly been in security. At Assembly, I’ve worked as an accommodation supervisor (aka the pajama banana crew), played Tetris with sleepy attendees, and built tables and chairs with the Build Crew. I love Pokémon and other cute games. My favorite food is bubble tea, even though I should eat real meals during events 😄
