Hack your Nintendo Console

Come and hack your Nintendo consoles! We at Testauserveri stand will help guide you through the hacking process to install custom firmware and homebrew on your Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.

Surprisingly, hacking your console is perfectly legal! Homebrew lets you run custom apps, play romhacks, edit your saves, use emulators, and so much more.

Note: Custom firmware is safe if you follow the instructions, but you will participate in the workshop at your own risk.
Note: Piracy is always illegal, and we will not support anyone trying to pirate games on their consoles.

Workshop schedule

• Friday, Aug 2, 18.00-20.00 – Hack your Switch
• Saturday, Aug 3, 16.00-18.00 – Hack your 3DS

To hack your Switch, you will need:

• A Switch made before 2019 (come to us to see if yours can be hacked)
• A jig, which you can get from our stand
• An SD card of at least 128GB
• A laptop or computer
• 2 hours of free time

To hack your 3DS, you will need:

• Any 3DS or 2DS console
• An SD card of at least 32GB
• A laptop or computer
• 2 hours of free time
