Esports results

At the Assembly Winter 2024 event, Overwatch 2 was played on the main stage on Friday, February 23, to compete for the Finnish championship, and on Saturday, February 24, for the Assembly and RAJU Counter-Strike 2 championship.

In both tournaments, an open qualifying stage ensured that the best players advanced to the finals. In the OW2 tournament organized by FEL, the prize pool was 1000 euros, all of which went to the winner. In Assembly’s CS tournament, a total of 5000 euros was distributed, with 3500 € going to the winner and 1500 € to the runner-up.

Assymylly

Assymylly Winter 2024 took place on Friday and Saturday, February 23-24, at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre. There were four official games, each with a prize pool of 750 euros, as well as one additional side game without prizes.

Prizes were distributed among the top three players in the official games as follows: 450 € for the winner, 225 € for the runner-up, and 75 € for third place.

Cosplay competition

The cosplay competition of the ASSEMBLY Winter 2024 event brought along skillful costume brilliance and charismatic performances. The highly anticipated competition once again gathered a large number of spectators to marvel at the world of cosplay. At Assembly, the cosplay competition consists of pre-judging, contestant photoshoots with a photographer, video shoots, and an on-stage performance segment. Performances and costumes are judged separately.

A total of nine performances were seen, featuring fourteen different characters on stage altogether. The competition had two categories: individual and group. In addition to these, the audience got to vote for their favorite through the Partyman voting system.
