Cosplay contest
Cosplay contest is back in Winter! You can participate individually or as a group, and the audience can show their love in the Fan Favorite vote!
Cosplay is a versatile hobby which combines fan-culture, crafts, acting, and other skills. Cosplay is popular around the World, and each costume is done freely by the design of the maker. Some make their costumes themselves from scratch, and some modify existing clothing to their liking, and some buy their costumes ready-made.
There are many kinds of Cosplay contests, and each competition focuses on different aspects of the hobby. Some appraise the performance, some only the costume, and some both with different emphasis.
In Assembly cosplay contest has four awards. The costume is included in the Best Individual, and Best Group categories, and the performance is included in the Best Performance, and Fan Favorite categories.
The information about prizes is announced later.
Sign up for the contest
The signup is done via Google Forms.
Group: select a contact person who will handle your signup!
- Read the rules carefully. Rules here
- Upload all reference images and background audio to a Google Drive/OneDrive/Dropbox folder. Name the folder clearly, for example: Nickname/Group name/2023 Assembly Cosplay Contest. Make sure that you copy the folder link so that the folder is publicly available.
- Fill in the signup form. You will get a copy to your email address.
- Wait that the contest organizer confirms your application. The organizer may ask you to complement your contest folder, if for example your audio is missing, or your link does not work.
